Missouri Ag officials are distributing 20 million dollars to smaller meat producers during the Covid pandemic. This effort is to jump start smaller meat production plants to reinforce the larger plants that have had slowing operations or shutdowns. $200,000 for larger facilities and $20,000 for smaller shops.

Recommendations: Supply chain issues have become a problem in certain areas and will continue to develop in major urban areas. Locate supplies in advance of the colder months where the supply chains will have a more difficult time in the midwest areas.
