SIGACTS: Walter Wallace Jr. Solidarity March planned for Raleigh, NC, Friday 30 October 2020, at 8:30 pm.

SITREP: In solidarity with protestors in Philadelphia, PA, organizers in Raleigh, NC, are planning a protest over the death of Walter Wallace Jr. The protest is set to start at Lane Street Mini Park, 920 E. Lane Street, Raleigh.

RECOMM: Protests in Philadelphia have turned increasingly violent over the past few days, including the employment of improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Walter Wallace protests have also spread to New York City, and are likely to continue spreading as seen in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd. The Pennsylvania National Guard has been on scene for two days attempting to quell the widespread looting and violence. On 29 October 2020, authorities found a van full of explosives near some of the protest locations. These protests are likely coordinated and not organic and may share tactics. AmCon personnel in the Raleigh, NC, area should take care to avoid Lane Street Mini Park and the surrounding area.
