What’s In Your Home Medical Kit?

When sickness or injury happens, it’s almost too easy to go to the nearest ER or urgent care center. But how many times have you walked away from one of those places saying to yourself, “I could have done that…”?

That could mean that we intuitively knew what to do, but did not trust our instinct. A little common sense, a reference book and a well equipped medical kit can go a long way to building confidence to handle many common illnesses and injuries ourselves. Doing this makes us less reliant on infrastructure and helps us be more capable to handle everyday issues that may arise.

Listen to Amber review the basics of her home medical kit and discuss her vehicle kit, too.

Fieldcraft Survival’s family preparedness director walks us through her setup for a home medical kit. Follow @ms-amber-elle on Instagram for more family preparedness content.
